Does the 'A' in ASR on the cap badge stand for Army, or Association?
As there are Scripture readers attached to the RAF it wouldn't be 'Army' Scripture readers.
My Great Uncle became a Scripture reader after WW1, he was previously a WO1 in the RGA.
