Now been able to find out about the Northampton!

The Training Ship Northampton was formerly HMS Sharpshooter. The ship was leased by the Royal Navy to the Marquis of Northampton (hence the coronet) in 1904. It was moored on the Thames and offered training in technical subjects to poor boys. In 1918 the ship was given to the Sea Scouts. It was broken up in 1922.
