Nice image.
Curious about the naming. The 16th Bn was a composite battalion, with two companies recruited from British Columbia (the 50th Gordon Highlanders and 72nd Seaforth Highlanders) and a company from Manitoba, the 79th Cameron Highlanders of Canada, and a company from Hamilton's 91st Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. The name derived from this was the Canadian Scottish.
