Default Albert Morris

The picture below is one of my paternal grandfather, Albert Morris, with what he wrote to his wife in 1919. I am trying to confirm what regiment Albert belonged to as I am having difficulty finding his military records. It has been suggested that his uniform is that of the ASC & I should very much like to have this confirmed if possible. The picture is not terrible good but I do not have the original. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Just for information, Albert was born in 1883 (quite often gave his age as older than he was!) in Shropshire & I think it's possible that he originally joined the Militia (3rd Shropshire LI) in 1900, transferring to the ASC later. Three of his brothers joined the ASC in November 1914 & have sequential numbers but, although Albert was living in the same area at the time, he did not join up with them. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
