Help with a road sign meaning “armoured battalion?”
Hello all!
I’ve had this since 2016 when I bought it in a market in Split Croatia.
the only things I know about it is it was found in Slovenia, it’s apparently German ww2 and based on my research a battalion armoured(?) sign.
I’m not sure what the numbers mean beyond guessing 1st batallion armoured 33 something.
My only concern is I know there was a lot of activity in this area during the Balkan wars in the 90’s so I’m sure there were a lot of signs like this kicking around.
Any thoughts at all would be appreciated.
