I would be very surprised if Gaunt ever actually made contemporary Glider Pilot Regiment cap badges, given the small size of the regiment and the large number of Firmin badges they had left over after it was no longer extant, I don't think that I have ever seen a Queens crown badge, other than Flying badges, worn by any serving members of the regiment during the period it existed.
I would certainly be very keen to see any such cap badges, with the Queens crown being worn by serving members of the regiment if you could post any photographs.
