Who would believe lightening striking twice.

I was pleased to win these this morning. A matching pair of interpreter sleeve badges, with backings.

I also came across a page from a French book on the specs of the 1914-18 badge. Here it is if anyone wants it for their archives. The section on the badge translates as follows.

"(1) troops assigned as interpreters for English armies bearing the insignia below after the extended model, but dimensions shown in gilded metal, stapled on a patch of cloth blue sky."
