I didn't like the para flash. It was not taken off an uniform as far as I could see. The back had considerable glue residue on it, and the flash appeared faded from too much sun. Not my cup of tea...

Those insignia are British made according to the slant of the letters and the backing. I don't know what date, but I would guess that it is not early war by that I mean 1939-41.

This patch is clearly a cut and paste result using original parts but sticking two separate sections together to form a 'new' flash. It is not an original flash, but a made up one.
