I am sure that the voided copies are based on Officers' badges.

This one does not seem to be gilded despite the loops.

In my experience it is the voided EVIII RE ORs...

In my experience it is the voided EVIII RE ORs badge that is fake. It uses an officers voided design and can be found on ebay in abundance.

The GV and the GVI ORs' badges were also solid.
