Metropolitan or Military Police cloth badge?

Hi All,

Any help with Identifying this cloth badge would be much appreciated, please.

Its white cotton on dark blue cloth. Measures 2x2.5 inches approximately. Its been folded into the shape...

I would say that it is the standard Royal Pioneer...

I would say that it is the standard Royal Pioneer Corps cap badge, its just been badly coloured over which has altered its shape.

WW2 records are still not available on ancestry, as far as I know. I think they have to be applied for directly from the MoD for a fee.
