Here is the back of a current issue 2 R ANGLIAN collar badge marked TOYE over LONDON and fitted with clutch pins. Measures 24mm x 20mm with flat back.

Clutch pin fittings would tend to indicate more recent manufacture. Any possibility that they are Royal Anglian collar badges that have been cropped?

Possibly South Wales Borderers? Rarely seen so whoever they were intended for perhaps not made in quantity or issued. Here are some images but of a slightly different Sphinx with different fittings...
