Tropical dress Malaya circa 1960s (early). Standard issue uniform - similar (except for the slouch hat) to British tropical dress of the same period except for the type of cloth used in the shirts.

I haven't checked but if these colour patches are of 66th Bn circa 1947-48 then chances are they may have been made up in Japan during the early days of the BCOF and may very well be the first...
