Hi, It is definitely WW1 11th South African Infantry. I have similar design titles in my collection. 10, 11 and 12 SAI tended to use Roman numerals and the rest normal numbers. Regards Andrew

This was the first issue badge(1902), The design was the same as the Scottish Horse. Shortly after this the star badge was introduced. These badges are very hard to find, so well done. Regards Andrew

Hi, CSARV is Central South African Railway...

Hi, CSARV is Central South African Railway Volunteers. This was a Transvaal Volunteer Unit in the early 1900's , post Boer War. It should be in white metal. so this one is a restrike. Regards Andrew

It looks similar to the SA Police Service...

It looks similar to the SA Police Service marksman's badge that I have in my collection. It isn't the same though. The rifles are not identical. Mine looks like R5 rifles and it has pins, not lugs on...
