Sadly I strongly suspect these are fantasy badges. I’ve never seen a period photo of one being worn and so far as I can tell the first book they appear in is the Martin Marsh fake catalogue, no. 211.

The two to the left of the BB badge are good. The FN one is good, they even bothered to pierce the gap between the scroll and the harp on the right - which is often found solid on genuine examples....

The Gloucesters is a dud but the RAOC and RA are fine but appear to have been extensively cleaned. The RA is 1917 variety with the wire reinforcing behind the scroll.

They’re old as the hills those loops. No way is that a fake. Definitely falls into the curators ‘example which is quite rare’ option I’d say. Nice badge well done.

The badge is a repro. But just to be clear there is a genuine Gaunt mark with the dreaded dot in the same position. The genuine mark is somewhat smaller at 11mm and the lettering much more squished...
