I should have said that the letters in the centre...
I should have said that the letters in the centre are ECRV. They stand for the Earl of Chester's rifle volunteers. That's the Prince of Wales.

I have just bought this 6th Chester RVC forage cap badge to add to my collection. I bought a 7th Runcorn RVC twelve years ago, but well worth the wait. I still enjoy the thrill of a new badge.
