I also have a Black and a Blue cloth cap badge for the RTR. I understood the Blue one was for Cadets but I cannot confirm this.

I have seen this badge, 1st picture, somewhere possibly here on the forum but I cannot remember who or what it is for.

This is a great reference book and have used it for several years now and I brought the updated version of the Edwards and Langley book last year at Farnham and I only paid 25 for it.

Thanks for your replies. I was led to believe that the 1st patch was RAF, now I know it is not. Did not think about Ambulance service for the 2nd. As for the 3rd ???
