Simple question, does anyone know if the MSO personnel were entitled to be buried in a British Military Cemetery with official headstone?. Just curious but I would like to think they were.

If the Pioneer Corps badge is genuine and it looks to me as though it is, then I would say it was for wear on the gs cap and is a rare find having the title instead of the motto.

In the third photo he is either a Lieutenant or a Lieutenant-Colonel depending on him having two pips or a pip and a crown. That would be rapid promotion if he's a Lieutenant-Colonel though.
