Brigade/divisional badge? Royal West African Frontier Force

Evening all, can anyone give me an id for this cloth badge from a WW2 slouch hat? I think many years ago, I found it to belong to the Royal West African Frontier Force - but I've lost my notes....

The square patch was worn during the First World War by some units of the Lincolnshire regiment. I have a photo somewhere of a chap with it on, plus have my Gt Gt grandfathers. It is a nice thing.

Aye it is a Lincoln's OSD officers badge, worn from 1902 until after WW2 I think. These are reproduced a lot though. My album has an original.

The only TF lincolns badges I've ever been convinced of have two lugs at the back and no slider ... body shape isn't the usual two repro types you get, but my gut feeling is it's a repro.

The buttons are Lincolns mess buttons - just a variation with the tail up. And they had white facings throughout the first half of the 20th century. Nice item!
