In my opinion this is a genuine flash, you can see by the sparse use of thread unlike the repro Pakistani/Indian repro's.. Also the materials used looks bonafide.

As far as I know there was a contingent of RAF...
As far as I know there was a contingent of RAF pilots that was attatched to the Glider Pilot Regt. after the heavy losses the latter took at Arnhem. They would wear the RAF rank insignia I presume....

Hello Voltigeur,
The shoulder flash is a tiger on a red and white background as worn in the picture is the 34th Indian Corps. Force 136 (SOE) was resulting under this corps.
