I have vague recollections of reading of the "Indian Platoons" in the past, and may have a photo of the 2nd Bn South Staffordshire Regiment's in a little photo book from the 1930's, but can't find it.

Unfortunately I haven't got "The Regiment" no. 22, but that seems the sort of publication that may have a photo of a RGJ OR in Shirtsleeve Order.

Army Veterinary Corps King George V Button "Established 1763".

The backmark on this 20 mm diameter button is "Established 1763".

Is that a mark of "Armfield"? (The company was established in 1763).
