West lake: Collecting Metal Shoulder Titles original HB book plus Supplement 1

Copy of Westlake hard back book plus Supplement No 1, this is the edition published in 1980 and is in good condition although some edges of the dust jacket are tatty.

LRB Cadets ????

Picture from old book showing cadets wearing cloth titles which appear to be either “ SC LRB” or “5C LRB” or something else. Can anyone please confirm.

If cloth badges have self adhesive baize attached to their backs they can then be attached to a display using Pritt or similar, the Pritt does not go through the baize and can be peeled off the back...

A collector ,for what I believe are perfectly innocent reasons, has commissioned some embroidered cloth badges which just comprise the name of CCF units . The problem may arise if the manufacturer...

Article on the Irish Lancastrian Battalion of the Parachute Regiment by the late Jake Whitehouse who was an officer with the unit.

Jake mentions one officers cap badge that was worn and I suppose...
