I did see a cap badge with the silver overlay maker marked Hemsley. Would that be immediately after WW1? Any idea when Hemsley stopped making badges? I have only ever seen CEF badges by Hemsley.

I am with Mike. Looks British made with that style of thread and the brown paper backing. I have seen plenty of Brit made wings on RCAF tunics and Canadian made wings on RAF tunics.
