Many thanks, so for Somerset LI we have the war time white on red followed by gold on green in 1950.

A white on Green "Somerset" only for the "T" battalion in 1967 which as a cadre probably didn't...

Somerset LI cloth title question

Hi folks

Attached are four cloth titles.

My questions are

Is No1 a faded yellow on green title or did they wear a white on green version at some point?

Is No3 a cut down version of No4...

I don't think it's meant that the REME was formed in India, but that the troops re badging to the new REME where ever they were in the world needed a cap badge, the Units in India had the description...
