The hat I am looking to pair up with the cap badge is a 1966 slouch hat, If I am correct the right badge is a QC with lugs (the hat has holes for the lugs). Would that era be bronze or white metal?...

Unusual 48th

Here is an unusual cap badge to the 48th Highlanders, it appears to be a cap badge that has been filled in with lead on the reverse. Anyone seen this before, or know why this has been done.

Sask 229 Batt CEF

Here is an interesting cap badge for the 229th South Saskatchewan Batt. The maker is Crichtons Moose Jaw, it looks like something else is marked above the 229 but cant make it out.

French WW1 pilots wings, no markers mark. The beak has a loop, I have seen pictures of the Lorraine Cross attached to this.

Here is a nice FSSF sweetheart or association pin, no markings on the reverse. Looks to be period correct, 3/4" tall.

The 15th Light Horse can be traced back to 1906, a small cavalry unit in South Alberta, who recruited for the CEF and were reinforcements for the Cdn Mounted Rifles.
