Patches such as these came as prizes in boxes of Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes in the early to mid 1950’s. I still have mine from about 65 years ago. It was a sad day when it ended.

It looks like a US Army qualification badge. The two loops at the bottom are for attaching a bar identifying the qualification. I can’t account for what looks like the letter “C”.
