This is an oddity but may have no significance. This gunner is wearing non standard buttons, neither Royal Artillery or General Service pattern. They appear to be the economy Royal Arms buttons.

I believe that it is a fake but I wanted to see it in the flesh, as I could not see the maker's mark clearly in the photograph that I was sent. It will be going back.

The Royal Guernsey Light Infantry badge is I believe, a copy due to the J.R.Gaunt.London maker's mark which, incidently, is 15mm long.
I am unsure about The Royal Gloucestershire Hussars badge....
