It's an Other Ranks badge.
I dont know much at all about RLC badges, the officer's first pattern I think lacked the blue enamel, versions of the Other Ranks badges look like officers red and blue...

As said, the buttons may well be "original" to the cap even if they appear to have replaced other buttons in that they were changed by the officer who wore it when his original Corps was amalgamated...

The buttons may very well be original to the cap.
You just need a Royal Logistical Corps officers cap badge to replace the badge that's on it, that would be correct.

The button is the second pattern worn by The Royal Logistical Corps, which was formed in 1993. That doesnt necessarily mean that the cap was made as late as 1993, it could perhaps have been badged...

The badge looks like an Other Ranks slidered one, incorrect, but it is possible for a cap to have been worn legitimately with different badges, for example when infantry regiment badges were replaced...
