I always thought it was Interesting that the 9th...

I always thought it was Interesting that the 9th lancers had reinforcing bars to the rear but the 16th Lancers didn't.

Was that a variation or just the norm??

And it looks like both of them were saved from the infamous chess set looking at the holes in the sliders and some remaining varnish...
