As far as I know, this was also the case in 51 (Highland) Infantry Division. However, someone told me the other day that the RAOC cap badge backing could well have been yellow?

It was a gamble: saw it in a charity shop for a fiver. If it had been a 40s brevet I would have kept it but it is now going up for sale.
