Lucky enough to pick up this bi-metal version...

Lucky enough to pick up this bi-metal version recently, together with a regimental button from Bishops Castle which is in the heart of the recruiting area.

Here is a photo of some members of the Denbighshire Hussars following church parade in 1914.

This clearly shows the bi-metal cap and collar badges worn on the walking out dress.

Yes, well spotted. I have had a good close look at the looped version and it would appear to me that this is also a 10th Hussars pattern although not as clearly defined, but you can see it....

Garry - The Denbighshire did serve in South Africa as part of the 29th Company 9th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry. Indeed the Colonel of the 9th Battalion was H.L.Howard of the Denbighshire Hussars....

Here are some of my badges for the above.
1.Officer's silver and gilt.
2.Officer's bronze, which came directly off the hat and had never previously been removed.
