DHIY Officers felt cap badge, cast gilding metal & gilt washed. Constructed with a top loop for securing chain. The pin and clasp were an original fitting .....as there is gilt wash still on the pin....

The Gm is fictitious.... there is no photo evidence for it to date. My belief is that a very worn bronzed brass has been mistaken for a Gm badge. Bryn Owens account is wrong as well.
