The fourth from the right seems to be wearing the darker coloured shirt usually worn by the RWF or Guards.
The extreme left has a cap similar to the Lancs Fusilier whose 3rd left .

The bronze one,reminds me of the later anodised...

The bronze one,reminds me of the later anodised badges. Very similar in shape.
The silver and gilt has a similar shape to a Greys badge,a bit more rounded and more flared wings.

Same TOS i think Bob,unless the tartan patch was rotated or cut differently.
The hackle was unlikely to be worn when in the field and on NI service.

The "Rangers" 12th London cloth title query

In the 1963 issue of the Rifle Chronicle,theres an image of Lloyds Company London Rifle Brigade Rangers.
The soldiers are in battledress and are wearing a cloth title . I cant make out the wording...

You could see he was wearing blackened "ACF". But no "Rifles" title. In one of my previous posts in this thread. The Rifles Officer of the 1st Cadet Btn KRRC wears "ACF" over "Rifles" ,both in black.

The 2 battalions of LI became the 3rd and the 5th Rifles,so thats why Minden day is celebrated in those 2 battalions.

The red badge backing went when the Light Division band became the Rifles Band. Worn behind the bugle on the cord boss.

I was going to say that,the citation went after 1 RGBWLI became a Rifles Btn in 2007. So not worn by the infantry.
But still worn by the Artillery unit that was entitled to wear it.
