Further to previous post, looking more closely at the 2 close-up photos, the anchors appear to be embroidered rather than the metal anchors of the CPO badges, so I suspect they will be the red...

Yes, that's what I would have expected however I doubt if they would have been entitled to wear the bullion cap badge as that was for CPO's.
