There is a line drawing of the button in post 1 in English Infantry Militia Buttons 1775-1881 by Ripley & Darmanin. It's described as Sussex Militia [1778], pewter, flat, design in relief.

The right hand one is 9th [West Middlesex] Middlesex Rifle Volunteers. The two headed eagle & cyrillic letters back mark on the other one suggest Imperial Russia maybe?
