Must have been a few produced - Regimental Brooches had one - see item 11148. Yes, I think the back plate was standard and particular Btn details added.

is this a pouch badge ? Measures 39mm high by 31mm wide. Sterling silver and maker stamp ' B.N.'. Also, can anyone identify the maker ? I have looked on internet but no luck..
