I just had a search on the internet and this came up from a dealer in doncaster home of the KOYLI museum where this badge with tombstone attachments is called a slouch hat badge.

The whole scenario of the change over seems quite unusual to me? I do think the tombstone attachment is ultra heavy duty when compared to a slider!
