JTF = Joint Task Force
CANSOFCOM = Canadian Special Operations Command
CFINTCOM = Canadian Forces Intelligence Command
The X has various meanings...

Thanks Bill - i was wondering with the re-branding of CANSOFCOM and the fact that their UK equivalent have their own trade insignia and other unique bits and bobs whether they'd followed suit given...

Thanks Bill, but JTF-2 and JTF-X are different units with different roles.

JTF-X is not (as far as I know) part of CANSOFCOM, I believe it is part of CFINTCOM.

Now that CANSOFCOM has its own beret badge has JTF-X done likewise with its raven crest?!
