These badges were worn for a very short time and...

These badges were worn for a very short time and even then not that often as the VTC was part time. Not sure how much polishing means that it has been over polished to give it authenticity.

I can only suggest that the 141 wore the tank badge as they considered themselves armoured and did not see the badge as RTR.

The WRAC ended when the AGC was formed in 1991/2. Ammo UK was about later than that.

The Bham mark would be OK for a/a badges but a period bimetal should be the London one.

I have the solid Gaunt version that Chris mentions and the slider is affixed to the rear of that part of the badge. Subsequent issue with the slider placed lower down enabled the void to be created.

One clarification point: the London regt dates from 1908 but they were still TF. The badges were not supplied by the WD until 1916 so the vertical shank...
