May be that Churchills book Infantry Collars...

May be that Churchills book Infantry Collars published in 2001 has out of date info on Rangers collars but in the book he has it as a collar.

According to Churchill's a florenated fleur-de-lys worn 4th VB Manchester Rgt in white metal, by officers in bronze also worn by 7th Battalion for officers in bronze and silver, WO's in gilt also...

Westlake #1827..... The National Reserve was...

Westlake #1827..... The National Reserve was formed in 1910 as the Veteran Reserve being redesignated by 1913. Westlake only notes three titles , 3 NR Devon, NR Sussex and T WRNR (West Riding).

Churchill & Westlake show the collar as you describe but it seems this one I have might be an earlier pattern , have now found the following, need to scroll down a few badge to find them......

Help on Prancing Horse collar

Similar horse used by King's Rgt., Northants Yeomanry and others but this actual badge not shown in Churchill/Westlake so any help to ID this badge would be appreciated ,I
