Economy badges... Collector opinions vary so much. Additionally, what was really manufactured or worn at the time may never be known with certainty. This makes them a minefield I tend avoid.

Here is my "brass" motto. The seller unfortunately polished it a bit thinking it would sell better that way! The back shows some of the original patina. What say ye to this?

Hmmm. Now what is "bronzed brass"? The one I saw was bright brass and certainly not bronzed in any way. If what I saw was good, they were produced on brass. If it was bad, perhaps not?

All,
Were there ever any all brass 17th lancers badges produced? I saw what appeared to be perfectly good badge (long tapering slider, good patina and fine strike), but not sure if they made them in...
