From the same small tin - two sets of lapel badges.

The 4th is much lighter gauge and the lugs are not standard. I've added an extra image to show a different angle.

These items came from a little black tin from my mother. I do mean small - W10cm x D6cm x H4cm. I think it held mostly her father's badges.

36th Aust Heavy Artillery Brigade 1918

The photo (I think) was taken just before the 16th Reinforcements departed from Australia - so maybe in Melbourne early Feb 1918.

If anyone thinks otherwise, I'd love to hear from you.

If this chap is who I think he is, then he joined the 17th Royal Warwickshire in 1917. Do the insignia support this?

Bert Wills' wedding to Myra Tippett in Perth 1920, with Bert's "chum" Jack Hopkins.

Myra arrived in WA on the 13th Feb and they married the next day.

Being "patched up" in England
