Lincolnshire Regt cap badge question

When was the Lincolns cap badge (male Sphinx/Egypt/LINCOLNSHIRE) approved/sealed? No date is given in Kipling & King vol.1 or 2, despite a lot of other regiments' badges being dated.

pre-1903
1903-1922
1922-1947
post 1947
