Pretty sure these were worn by British troops circa 50s in Middle East but cannot give any more info than that due to failing memory!

As you may know Meyer of New York was a well...

As you may know Meyer of New York was a well known maker of military and aviation badges, does it have an aviation/bomber squadron connection. Certainly a very well made badge.
