The badge looks OK to me but not the best example.

Values vary from 30+ at auction up to 70 on some dealers' sites.

The lugged badge is likely to be 1897-1903 ish by its fixings and construction.

The Leics TF started in 1908 and wore badges with verticak shanks as far as I know.

No idea but I feel sorry for the collector in that there were so many fakes in it. The OTC side was impressive for some of the scarce badges.

Badly catalogued and whilst there were some nice OTC abdges the grouping of them with lots of fakes was a bit of a deterent. I await to see ebay full of these fakes being palmed off within weeks!
