Secondly its not a genuine set of hallmarks, just someones interpretation of what hallmarks...

It is a chemical process to age it.

I would not buy it.

I assume the large Maltese Cross underneath sufficed for the O/R's but the officers of the 1st VB did wear a crown on their boss.

I also have a 1st VB Manchester Regt O/R's sealskin with green cords, so mine matches the museum one albeit a different VB of the same regiment.

Not enough examples to be sure.
