WOMAN'S VOLUNTEER RESERVE BADGE

Picked up this badge this week. Its the WOMAN'S VOLUNTEER RESERVE BADGE (EDMONTON). As in Davids Soltess Collectors Guide CD. I too have only seen one of these badges and that's the badge displayed....

The badge that I had picked up has a maker mark of HEMSLEY MONTREAL as well unlike CB's book that had stated no maker marks.

Thanks for the quick response. I did remove a little varnish on the back of the badge as suggested and found brass. Another badge to be placed on the copy/forgery list. Thanks again

WW1 - 16 CANADIAN LIGHT HORSE

Just got in the mail. A 16th Canadian Light Horse cap badge. Are there re-strikes of this badge and is this one of them? The badge is a cross colour between brass and gild with white metal overlay....
