Maybe its something to do with PAK Parachute Co Ltd.
They made parachutes throughout the war, in all the major campaigns including Arnhem.

May be worth contacting Fattorini as they still make...

No1 Dress Buttons

Wouldn't the cap buttons have been be silver?
They were made in Silver and AA sizes Large Medium (example is with screw fix for epaulette) and small (cap?/mess/generals collar)
