Hi,
Yeah it's a collar. Nice looking badge. Looks to be WW1 Era/Militia Period 1930/42. By the shape and detail, I'd suggest British made. Not an uncommon badge.

Can you show the back? Is there a makers mark? For example, if it was marked Luke it would be WW2. Is it brass or copper? Does it have lugs or is it a slider?
But I am far from being any sort of...

I recently acquired a single MM Tiptaft RS and I'm troubled by the patina. Anyone have any idea of why it's that colour? Should I be concerned? I'm thinking about returning it.
I've...

They are such a great looking badge. The dealer swears it's real and I've bought enough from him that he'd be happy to let me return it if I had doubts....

Hi jean-paul Vermersch,
Thanks for the reply. Yours looks the same as the one held in a museum collection in Victoria and has a similar finish. I'd presume the LH badge in the museum collection...

13th LH Real or fake
Hi,
I've attached some photo's of an unofficial 13th LH badge that I'm considering purchasing. I'm not 100% sure if it's real: It looks pretty good to me, but the finish seems a bit weird. The...
