Sorry to have to contradict but the RAChD badges and buttons have a NSN and are available through the system. The black Christian version is anodised aluminium.

I would be say that a gold AA RHA badge without the seeding to the scrolls is odd if not suspect The change to silver occured in 1971 a long time before any change to the background to the scrolls...
