Can some kind soul tell me if the QO DORSET YEOMANRY CAP BADGE 1908- 1922 pattern in bronze was ever replaced by a brass issue during W.W. 1.

The very small crown Appears to be that of a staff/ colour sergeant. That is if they are British Badges.
